Hyssop
 | Protection, Purification |
  
| To keep negative energies from entering your home, hang sachets of Hyssop
at all of the windows and entrances. This may also keep out unwanted people,
burglars and the such. |
| A strong infusion of Hyssop may be added to your wash water for cleaning
your home of negative energy. |
| Hyssop is very purifying and cleansing and so makes an excellent ritual
bath before performing hex breaking, healing and protection magick. Simply
add a strong infusion to your bath water and meditate on positive energy for
9 or 13 minutes. |
| To make a purifying and protective ritual, anointing oil, steep a handful
of Hyssop in an equal quantity of quality olive oil. Shake every day for 3
full moons, charging the oil in the light of each full moon. Strain, and
once again charge the oil, this time in the light of the noonday sun. Place
a small piece of amethyst in the bottle and keep this on your alter. Hyssop
anointing oil may also be used in healing rituals. |
