Quite simply, Mandrake Root may be added to amulets and sachets for any of the above magickal influences. It is said to triple the potency of any spell to which it is added, though care must be exercised, for if one uses the Mandrake in spells of harm or manipulation, the law of three (any harm done will come back to you multiplied by three) is again tripled (3x3). Therefore, it is extreme bad luck to try to use Mandrake except for the purist of intentions. Remember, do what you will, but harm none.

An effective protection and purification wash may be made by steeping a small handful of cut Mandrake in a bucket of water for 3 days (add just a few drops of bleach to keep bacteria from forming).
