A piece of Orris Root, carried or worn, is an effective love drawing amulet. Drill a hole through the root, and string on a red or pink cord and wear it close to your heart. The root may be scented with drops of love drawing essential oils, as Orris Root is well known as being a perfect fixative for scent. Scented pieces may also be added to potpourris and incenses for any magickal purpose, depending upon the oils used. Ground Orris Root is a wonderful love drawing powder, scented or unscented.

For protection, hang a piece over your bed (also said to encourage psychic dreams) and over your entranceway.
