Many of these questions are answered on our "About Our Stones" and "Ordering Details" pages, but here we've provided quick answers,and further information, for your convenience. Either scroll down, or click on the questions, below, to take you directly to the answer...


Where is Moontide Arts located?
    We have both a shop and an art studio where our custom products are created. Our shop is the largest store in the United States oldest, continuously running, covered mall, The Paddock Arcade. The Arcade is the crown jewel of Watertown, New York's historic Public Square. For your GPS or Map Quest, the exact address is 1 Public Square, suite 12, Watertown, NY 13601. The building's main entrance (not actually on the Square itself) is actually the second building from the corner of the Square on Washington Street, just across from the YMCA, and there's plentiful parking at the front of the building, on the street, as well as at the back of the building, on Arcade Street (street parking and a very nearby, free parking lot is also available). Moontide Arts is actually closer to the Arcade Street entrance, just inside the door.
     Our creative work studios are also located in the picturesque North Country of New York State, near the Canadian boarder. Moontide's hundred year old stone home studio is located on a rushing river, and the sounds of a nearby water fall provide both inspiration and wonderful energies. Who is Victoria?
    Victoria is the sole owner/operator of Moontide Arts. Some family and friends volunteer their time on occasion, but for the most part, Victoria takes care of all of the details...from selecting the raw material, some designing, overseeing the manufacturing in India, importing, sales, much of the web mastering and all of the shipping...She does almost everything, all the while giving her buyers 5 star customer service.

Where are the products made?
    The majority of our New Age jewelry, stone and pendulum pieces are made at our sister company in the north of India. Years ago, Victoria, Moontide's owner, made a spiritual journey to study Reiki in India and while there, met a wonderful family of stone workers. Feeling an almost instant kinship with these people, and impressed by the spirit of this family, and the excellent working conditions and benefits they provide those in their employ, Victoria entered into a partnership that has proven to be beneficial to everyone involved. Having this close and personal relationship with those that craft our collection, we feel, makes our pieces all the more powerful. There is absolutely no child or slave labor involved during any part of the production of our pieces.
     Also, the majority of other items that Moontide Arts stocks that come from India are provided by friends and family of our Sister Company, which we consider our adopted family, people with whom we have a close, personal relationship, assuring us that the items we sell are made in very humane conditions.

This Crystal Temple was hand carved from a single piece of exceptional quartz (aprox. 16" in diameter). It's nearly flawless and one of the great achievements of our studios, sold to a museum for over $20,000. ("Mouse-Over" the temple for a closer view.)

 Are the stones really Reiki charged?
    All of our stones are Reiki charged both in India, by our very spiritual stone cutter, and in the US, by our resident Reiki Master, who was trained in India. Click here to return to list of questions.
 

Can you add a Spell Energy Charge to the stones?
    Our resident Wiccan will be happy to add spell energy to your order. Simply contact us with your needs, and she'll add the appropriate magickal spell charge. This service is done free of charge. Click here to return to list of questions.

"Special Energy", Spell Charged, Spirit Possessed and "Haunted" stones can be found at Haunted Moontide. These pieces are rare, so we may not always have offerings in this section. Click on our ghost to be transported to the Paranormal pieces...
                               
Do you take Credit Cards?
    We accept credit and debit cards through PayPal. Once you're signed up with PayPal, you can also pay by e-check, directly from your banking account. Signing up with PayPal is simple and secure. Click here if you need to sign up with PayPal. We don't accept personal checks, but through PayPal, you can use your checking account. 
    
If you're uncomfortable with PayPal, or have some other issue with it, we're happy to take your credit or debit card over the phone and process it through our shop's merchant service. (PayPal is faster for you, because you just click and we ship, but we don't mind having you call in your credit card, as that actually saves us a bit on fees...so whatever makes you comfortable...)  Click here to return to list of questions.


Do you accept money orders?

    We're happy to accept US Postal Money Orders as well as money orders purchased at any Walmart. If you'd like to pay by Postal or Walmart Money Order, you won't be able to use the shopping cart, but you can email us at owner@moontide.net with your order (please put ORDERING in the email subject line), and we'll quickly get back to you with your total, the address to which to send your payment and any other necessary details. How will my order be shipped?
    We use the US Postal Service for all packages. We use the smallest packaging possible (while still being well padded and secure) just in case your mailbox is small. Most items feature free shipping, but for those items that do have a shipping charge (which will be very clear in the item's description), the shipping charges will be as close to our actual cost as possible. How long will it take to receive my order?
    We ship all orders within two days of your payment clearing. Most packages can be shipped using First Class Mail (2-5 days). Packages over 13 ounces will need to go Parcel Post (3-9 days). Priority Shipping is frequently used, as it often proves to be the best choice when your order can ft into a Flat Rate box, but we won't charge you extra for that.
     During the Winter season, we will occasionally need an extra day or more, due to the over abundance of snow we regularly receive, but should that be the case, we'll contact you.

How much do you charge for shipping?
        To keep things as simple as possible, most of our items ship for free. We may list some items or lots that will require that we charge shipping, but in such cases, the shipping charges will be made very clear with the item description. We only ask that you try to pay for all of your items with just one payment, as this saves us on some fees and simplifies shipping. Put what you'd like in your Shopping Cart, and when you're ready, use one of the convenient links to go to your Shopping Cart, do any needed editing (adding or deleting items, changing quantities, etc...very simple), and then go through the easy, and secure, payment steps. Click here to return to list of questions.

Is faster shipping available if I need my order quickly?
    First Class Mail is very fast, and we often use Priority, however, Next Day shipping may be purchased for an additional charge. Just let us know, before paying, that you need special shipping, and we'll add the extra charge to your invoice. In some cases, Priority Shipping will cost extra (usually on small items or when we weren't planning on taking advantage of the Priority Flat Rate option). If speed is an issue, just let us know, and we'll work with you to get your order to you quickly at as reasonable cost possible. Click here to return to list of questions.

What is your return policy?
    We're happy to exchange items that arrive damaged or that you do not like...however, please be aware that stones vary greatly, so if the listing is for a "stock" piece, you may not receive the exact piece pictured. Yours will be similar but unique. If we made a mistake, your return shipping will be refunded, otherwise, you'll be responsible for the cost of returning the item/s. Do you ship Internationally?
    If you need shipping outside of the US, please contact us before placing an order. Our Shopping Cart system is not set up to accept International orders, so you'll need to place your order via email and allow us to send you a PayPal invoice with the correct total and shipping charges. There are some countries that are just too difficult to ship to, due to customs restrictions and other problems, but let us know where you are, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
