Photo Contest
We're currently running a photo contest...Best Alter.
Come on, People...Send in those photos! There are prizes to be won! We're not receiving any entries, and we really do want to start showcasing our friends, readers and customers creativity.
For "Best Alter", we're looking for creativity, composition and Spiritual content...an alter that has had a great deal of thought put into it and not necessarily the one that has the most elaborate or valuable items. (It will help your chances of winning if you describe what each item is and why you placed it on your alter. Give our readers the meaning behind your choices.)
If you'd like to participate, please email your photo, or photos, to owner@moontide.net, putting "Photo Contest" in the subject line. Tell us a little bit about your photo, and a little bit about yourself, if you like. Once we have 20 serious entries to choose from, in each category, we'll pick the winners, so there's no real deadline for these contests...In fact, we intend to keep these contests running, awarding prizes after every 20 (or fewer) photos that come in, so the odds of winning are good. Feel free to submit photos as often as you like, but to be fair, you may be awarded a prize only once every 4 months.
The winners will receive a fully cleansed, charged and blessed pendulum from our Teardrop Collection, instructions and a storage pouch. If you're a local winner, you're welcome to come into the shop, and we'll let you select your own, and if you're not local, we'll select a very special piece for you and mail it to you, free of charge (of course).
By entering any of our photo contests, you're agreeing that we may use your photo on any of the Moontide Arts websites (moontide.net, moontidearts.com, moontidearts.net and moontidewholesale.com). We may correct the contrast, brightness, color or crop your photo, but otherwise, it won't be altered. If you wish your name, craft name, Internet name, etc. to be included, OR excluded, with your picture, just let us know.
