Below, we'll be listing links and comments on some sites and places that we think you may find interesting, ones that we personally endorse. (These are in no particular order...just listed as they occure to us, so this will be an ever growing list.)
One of the very best resources available to the Wiccan and Pagan Community is Witch Vox. Witch Vox is a not-for-profit website offering Neo-Pagan news and networking since 1997. This is THE site to visit first when you move into a new community. You'll quickly be able to look up any local shops, groups, classes, individuals and families...businesses and people of like-minded Pagan philosophies. Most of Moontide Arts fresh business comes from people new to the area that found our listing on Witch Vox. We encourage you to post your own networking profile on the site. You may end up making some fabulous new friends.

Zenni Optical...This is THE site to visit if you want an entire wardrobe of eye glasses for a small fraction of the cost of buying your glasses at a local shop. You simply need to get your current prescription, which you're entitled to have, by law, and then select among the hundreds of frames Zenni Optical has to offer, starting at EIGHT DOLLARS, which INCLUDES the lenses, and then fill out the straight-forward order form. If you have any trouble figuring out the ordering process, their email and phone support is excellent. One Moontide family member has bought over a dozen pairs of glasses at Zenni, most tinted, all fashionable, two even having no-line bifocals, and she spent under $275. That's less than what just ONE pair of no-line bifocals will cost you at most optical shops. Out of all of the glasses she's purchased, only one wasn't a good fit, but that was one of the $8 pairs she chose, though her other $8 pairs were fine. Truly, we can't say enough about how much we like this invaluable source for quality, inexpensive eye glasses.

The Paddock Club...This is the very best and most sophisticated, while still remaining fun, club in all of Watertown, and it just so happens to be located just down the hall from Moontide Arts in the historic Paddock Arcade. There are three main rooms...the pub room (which is what we like to call it, though the club does call itself a martini bar), the lounge room and the band room, which also features a second bar. Each room has a gas fire place, Tiffany style lamps, comfortable sink in and stay a while seating, gorgeous accessories and artwork...even the bathrooms are lovely (and yes, even the men's room). http://www.paddockclubusa.com/
Another one of our neighbors in The Paddock Arcade, the owners of Johnny D's casual restaurant, just across the hall from Moontide Arts, has another restaurant that we must recommend...Bistro 108. We have other favorite places to eat, but for a relaxing drink and live music, most evenings, Bistro 108 is the place to go in Watertown, Ny. They're just a block away from The Arcade, so it's an easy walk to visit both the Bistro and the Paddock Club, if you'd like to make an evening of it on Public Square. Bistro 108 is on Facebook, where you'll find information about their menu as well as their NIGHTLY LIVE entertainment.

Victoria is absolutely addicted to music, and her (former) favorite music site, for her digital downloads, is emusic. Emusic is also one of the least expensive places to buy music. She's also a big fan of Pandora, where you can design your own custom "radio" stations for free.

OK, we USED to be huge fans of emusic, but they've changed things, and you can no longer have multiple downloads of the same track, so you should make a back-up copy, since you'll be charged if you need to re-download a track. Still...emusic is still very inexpensive, and the quality of the downloads is a bit better than average, though not always perfect.
