Spells & Spell Theory
Spells are a means by which we can greatly focus our concentration. We do this through rituals involving the spoken word, items from nature, such as crystals, incenses, herbal bends, sands and salt, as well as hand or machine crafted items such as amulets, jewelry, candles and more. These items trigger responses in the furthest reaches of our psyche, deepening our attention to our needs, wants and goals. In thi way we attract positive energies, energies that aid in attracting that which we desire. It is the colors, textures, patterns, aromas, light, resonance, warmth, and the memories and sensations the items invoke, these combine to create and influence the energies that effect change.
Magick and Spell Working is never passive. The Spell Caster must devote a great deal of attention, focus, desire and energy, directing it specifically, with great intent, toward the desired outcome. Spells, therefore, are not to be taken casually. The steps involved often seem deceptively simple, but no spell should be attempted carelessly or casually, as without directing your focus accurately, harnessing your attentions and energies very specifically, the spell can fail, or worse, it can go wrong, causing an unwanted outcome. With this in mind, it is important to be aware of the fact that spells are easier to cast than they are to break.
Cast your Spells with care, but cast them, do. They will help you find the answers to your problems and help you to achieve your goals, but remember…You are the main ingredient. It is your will that determines the success or failure of your magickal endeavors.
